Very cute but too many IAP
This is an adorable avatar/game app. If you like games like The Sims or Animal Crossing, you may enjoy this app. You create a cute avatar, dress it up, decorate its room and keep a diary/journal. The app also has some cute plazas for your avatar to walk around and chat with others. My only problem is how expensive this games IAPs are. I have no problems with spending on IAPs occasionally to enhance a game. This game however is really excessive. To get a pet, you have to pay real money. To play some of the gacha (blindbag) machines, you have to pay real money. The most ridiculous purchase they demand is in the Disney plaza. You can "take a picture" with a Disney mascot. What this is essentially is your avatar overlaid on a background image of the Disney mascot. BUT there are LINE Play logo marks all over the picture. To remove the marks and save the picture, you have to pay with currency you can only buy with REAL MONEY. What?! In addition, all of the clothing you can buy for your avatar and all of the gacha machines at the Disney plaza are only purchasable with real money currency. And that currency isnt cheap. Right now 13 c is $2. Each gacha machine cost about 10-15 c to play ONCE. So your $2 wont go very far. A pet costs about $5-6. Obviously you dont need to buy any of these things to play the game. But its surprising how shamelessly they charge these prices. For pixels!! For fairness, Ill add this: there are some items and gacha you can play with "gems", currency you earn by playing the game and visiting other avatars. But collecting the amounts you need to purchase items or play gacha (the gacha that accept gems only) takes a while. They are really doing their best to push you to buy IAPs. (Did I mention that you can buy gems with real money too? Of course you can.)
